Use case

Can dry ice clean leather seats?

No — leather is not the right substrate for dry ice. Use specialist leather cleaning.

Verdict

No

Wrong tool — use specialist leather cleaning chemistries.

The detailed answer

Leather upholstery isn't a dry ice application. The pellets are too cold for some animal-hide finishes (can crack the surface) and the kinetic impact at any useful pressure is too aggressive for stitching. Specialist leather cleaning chemistries and conditioners are the correct method. We do clean the dashboard plastics, alloy trim, headliner brackets and steering boss when an interior project comes up — but the leather itself we'll refer you to a specialist trim restorer. Same applies to fabric upholstery and carpets.
